Nice article from South Africa about the Stage’s production of The Brothers Size’s transfer to Cape Town and beyond.
Our final show of the season, The Brothers Size, opened this weekend at Syracuse Stage. The cast had a great performance Friday night to kick us off and the audience was drawn into the show from the very beginning. We are only running for a couple more weekends…in this country. Once we close here, we’re packing up and heading across the ocean to South Africa. It’ll be my first time traveling abroad and I have to say that I am trilled to have such a great production and a wonderful company of actors to anchor my journey.
If you are in the Syracuse area and can see this show here at the Stage, do it. It’ll be way cheaper than trying to catch it on the second leg of the run!
My current project is as Production Stage Manager for Syracuse’s Stages final production of the season, Tarell McCraney’s The Brothers Size. After the production closes here in Syracuse, NY, we will be taking it to South Africa where it will perform in Cape Town and Johannesburg. I am fortunate to not only be working on this show here in Syracuse, but to also be continuing along with it on part of the journey overseas. If you want to follow our production and our travels, check out http://syracusetosouthafrica.org.
So here is my new web site. I am in the process of migrating my domain name to point to this site, but for some reason my Domain Name host is not doing what I want it to. Until then, you will have to use stuartplymesser.wordpress.com to get here. More content and thoughts on the way.
